The song itself is an absurd traipse down a small town road, where conservative tropes and liberal sensitivities are on full display.
If you're from a small town, you might think "hell yeah" and if you're from a city, you've rolled your eyes so much the past week they've fallen out of your head.
Objectively, the song isn't that offensive (unless you're into carjacking old ladies and sucker-punching people). It's what people choose to see in it that makes it interesting.
It's a cultural Rorschach test. The Yanny or Laurel of 2023, except if you don't hear what others hear you're a racist.
